Bath & Body

  1. Hands, Hair & Body: Apply directly on hands, hair or wash cloth for bathing.

  2. Shaving Cream - rub a little bit of castile soap between wet hands to create a lather perfect for shaving. Use it on your face, under arms, legs, or wherever!

  3. Facial Cleanser - Using a foaming dispenser, add ¼ cup of Castile liquid soap and fill it to the top with distilled water. Add 5 drops each of tea tree and frankincense essential oils.

  4. Foot Scrub - Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of castile soap, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, and 4 drops of peppermint essential oil. Use it to scrub away dry skin for softer feet.

  5. Castile for Your Teeth - Put 1 drop of Castile liquid soap, 1 drop peppermint essential oil and a small dollop of coconut oil on your toothbrush and brush as normal. Just like with toothpaste, do not swallow.

Household Cleaning

  1. Dishes - Use full strength. For tougher jobs, let soak.

  2. All-Purpose Cleaning Spray - add 1/4 cup of soap to 1 quart of warm water, then stir to combine. Pour the solution into a spray bottle to use. Add a few drops of lemon oil or tea tree oil to the spray for added cleaning power.

  3. General Cleaning - Dilute from one part soap into 40 parts water for light cleaning, to 1:1 or full strength for heavy-duty grease-dissolving jobs.

  4. Floors: dilute in water 99% (2 tbsp. of soap per gallon of water).

  5. Glass Cleaner - Mix one-half cup of white vinegar with two teaspoons of liquid Castile soap and two cups of warm water. Add a few drops of essential oil to give the mixture a nice scent. Shake well, spray on glass, and wipe dry with newspaper or static free cloth.

Bathroom cleaning

  1. Bathrooms & Tiles: Use full strength. For tougher jobs, let soak.

  2. Tub Scrub - Fill a spray bottle with ⅓ Castile liquid soap and ⅔ water. Spread baking soda liberally around the bath and spray the Castile mixture on top of it. Scrub with a scouring pad or scrub brush.

  3. Toilet Touch-Ups - put a few drops of soap into your toilet, then give it a quick swish with your toilet brush, and flush.

Laundry

  1. Laundry: Use 1/4 to 1/3 cup of liquid soap per standard 6-8 lbs load.

  2. Fabric Stains: Mix 1 cup water, 1/8 cup liquid soap, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1 tbsp. white vinegar into spray bottle. Spray on stain and gently blot dry.

Other Uses

  1. PET WASH - Wet the coat of your pet thoroughly first then apply the liquid castile soap by massaging a small amount in your hands first until a lather is formed, then washing the hair/fur and rinsing clean afterwards. Can also be added to the wash water for ease of use (one squirt is plenty).

  2. FRUIT & VEGETABLE RINSE - Fill the sink with water and add a squirt of liquid castile soap to remove most chemical residues from fruit and vegetables.

  3. PEST SPRAY - Use 1-2 tablespoons/about 23ml per litre of water (4-6 tablespoons per gallon) in a spray bottle for garden pests
